CAMP FACILITIES: Morris Knolls boasts a high end black box theatre and dance studio along with a high capacity auditorium for our performances.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in 2022, the Morris Regional Performing Arts Company prides itself on a singular goal: shining a spotlight on tomorrow's stars. Built by performing arts educators, Morris Regional PAC strives to provide supplemental performing arts education to students in Morris County, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas.

Aware of the growing need for a comprehensive performing arts education, MRPAC is built uniquely around the goal of providing a well-rounded educational opportunity to its students. MRPAC, and its founding members, believes in an inclusive approach to training the next generation. Our team of professionals represents a diverse and comprehensive background of skillsets. The MRPAC has been constructed by certified educators, and includes a broad background of industry experience. With multi-disciplinary training, our staff includes professional actors, musicians, dancers, stage managers, and technical professionals.

Both the Summer Spotlight Series and the production of Clue will run from July 15-26, with performances on the evenings of July 26 and 27. The Summer Spotlight Series will meet weekdays from 9:00-2:00 and rehearsals for Clue will meet from 3:30-8:00.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our private lake is a highlight, with paddleboards, inflatables to jump on, and clear water to swim in. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Within the camp, students will be placed into age-based, developmentally-appropriate groups to give students the most optimal musical experience. In these groups, each singer will develop their love of music, further develop vocal skills, and increase musical knowledge and understanding. The camp will culminate in a showcase performance for friends and family at 1:30pm on the final day. Please bring a lunch each day. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are looking for summer interns and we offer paid internships and scholarships.

CAMP FACILITIES: Wonderful enclosed bunks for each age group. Enclosed building for the dinning hall, gymnastics, all of the art classes and an amazing theater. Individual age specific fields for junior, intermediate, and senior sports including separate hockey, soccer, basketball and softball fields. Also tennis courts, a go-kart track, bungee trampoline and amazing high and low ropes course with elements ideally built for both 2nd grade and up as well as 1st grade and below. Our lake is 5 miles long and offers endless opportunities in sailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding and with a beautiful pontoon boat for our little ones to just go exploring. There is not much we do not have available and with 20 acres the only thing we can not do on camp is ride mountain bikes for miles so we do that right next door on a 300 acre preserve. OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Oakhurst, established in 1906, is operated by New York Service for the Handicapped (NYSH), an independent non-profit social service agency with offices in New York City and Oakhurst, New Jersey. NYSH serves children, teens and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, including autism. Our campus is fully accessible and barrier free for wheelchair users, including our heated swimming pool, and is only about 55 miles south of New York City. Transportation from New York City is available. While we have a 9 week summer camp program, we also provide over 150 days of year-round overnight respite stays of 2-7 days in length and offer a day recreation program for adults living in Monmouth County, NJ.

Our staff is professional, experienced and highly trained. Each senior staff member holds a degree in special education or a related field with experience in both educational and therapeutic settings working with children with special needs. Counselors are carefully selected for their ability to facilitate growth for our children and their motivation to work in our setting.

We provide a safe, secure, fun and motivating environment. A registered nurse is on site. Staff undergo thorough background checks. Staff to child ratio is 1:3 or better. Safety and security are carefully monitored.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Harbor Haven has a two week volunteer program for 17 and 18 year olds. There are very limited spots available. An interview is required along with completing an application and getting 3 letters of recommendation.

You can submit limited portions of the Harbor Haven program to your insurance company for reimbursement. We can provide you with a codified bill after you have paid in full.

Other agencies such as Catholic Charities, Kiwanis and Knights of Pythias and Columbus have provided scholarships in the past.

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp is a fully winterized facility, consisting of 26 cabins and two large lodges. All cabins and lodges have full bathrooms and electricity. Each cabin group hold 8-10 campers and two staff members. Our dinning hall, rec halls and out side courts and facilities are shared by our day, overnight and ranch camps.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: More about the Artistic Director: Erin Carlisle Norton (she/her)
is a choreographer, dancer, movement educator, administrator, and Artistic Director of The Moving Architects
(TMA), an all-female dance company and nonprofit organization based in NJ/NYC. With a movement vocabulary that emphasizes charged movement and feminine strength, Norton’s choreographic work links design and form to movement and space, often incorporating interactive costuming/props. TMA has a dynamic history of teaching, performing, creating, and touring regionally, nationally, and internationally, presented through company performance and teaching tours to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan with the US Department of State and US Embassies, Morocco, and Guatemala, and widely at dozens of traditional and
unconventional venues including NYC’s BAM Fisher, Bryant Park Dance Festival, Triskelion Arts, Performance Mix Festival, Spring Break Art Fair, Ramapo College, The Dance Complex (Boston), Point Park University (PA), Columbus Dance Theater (OH), and
21C Museum Hotel (KY) among others. Erin has taught dance courses at The Ohio State University and Beloit College, and has enjoyed guest artist positions at dance studios, community centers, and universities including Valley Day School (PA), Kenyon College (OH), Pomerene Arts Center (OH), University of Chicago, and Gibney (NYC). Erin’s work has been supported by creative residencies including yearly at Wilson College (PA),
Dancewave as the first artist-in-residence (Brooklyn), and currently at MOtiVE Brooklyn. Receiving numerous awards and fellowships, she was selected for the 2021 Dance/USA Institute for Leadership in Dance and received a 2014 and 2020 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Choreographic Fellowship.
Erin has a BFA and MFA in Dance from The Ohio State University, a Graduate-level Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis from Columbia College Chicago (GLCMA), and is a Certified Pilates and Barre Instructor. She currently leads the company’s pay-what-you-can movement program Community Movement Project in Northern NJ, and hosts and produces the company’s semi-monthly dance interview podcast Movers & Shapers: A Dance Podcast. Erin is also the Executive Director of Dance New Jersey, the statewide service organization for dance and dance education.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a brand new activities building for girls to eat their lunch, programming and more. Our pools offers us the ability for all girls to go swimming and have swim lessons daily, as well as offer a specialty aquatics program. Platform tents, tebins, pavilions and our cabin provide additional program space. Additional program areas include archery, a low ropes course with a zipline, maker space and large fields offer a wide variety of activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp sessions run from July 7 through August 13. Camp DeWitt offers two experiences: General and Specialty.

General Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades K-10 and provide a broad camp experience with varied activities and pool time daily. General Camp programs enable you to experience an array of camp activities every day.

Our Specialty Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades 2-10. Activities are grouped according to program, age, and interest level. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts, and games.

GSHNJ camps are a place where each and every girl can feel safe, valued and supported while making new friends and challenging themselves to try new things. Camp staff is committed to ensuring the health, safety and overall well-being of all campers. GSHNJ camps follow the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, ACA, and the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

Day camp sessions will run from July 6 through August 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday for girls entering Kindergarten to grade 10. In addition to the program theme, girls will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of camp activities which may include hiking, outdoor cooking, nature activities, games, sports, singing, archery (grades 2 and up) and a low ropes course. Our activities building will offer shelter from extreme heat and major storms. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts and games.

Our camp program is based on the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Several of our programs are designed for girls to earn a full badge during the time at camp. Other program may also earn badges or parts of badges. This information will be available after your daughter’s stay at camp.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Earn your Girl Scouts CIT award as you master your leadership and counseling skills. Discover your personal leadership style as you work to identify and build on the strengths you already possess. Participate in activities that teach you skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to become a successful counselor in your first week, then work directly with younger campers during your second week.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp is available for rent. Our camps are beautiful and full of activities like archery, geocaching, ropes courses and more trails than you can imagine. You can pitch your own tent or stay in one of our winterized cabins—either way, you'll feel right at home.

Girl Scout Programming throughout the year. Becoming a Girl Scout means getting to participate in a ton of fun programs and events. Earn badges, complete journeys and learn new things through our programs designed for girls who are ready to change the world.

Events and activities a la carte. GSHNJ offers opportunities for you, your troop, or group to participate in a staff-led program at a time and location that works for you! SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Camp Agnes DeWitt hires enthusiastic and dedicated adults to provide our summer camp program for girls. All camp staff participate in one week of pre-camp training conducted by trained professionals and many have taken additional training in their specialty areas. All waterfront activities are supervised by American Red Cross certified lifeguards.

Camp DeWitt follows the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, the American Camp Association, as well as the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS:

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) PROGRAM: Ages 13-15. In our CIT Program, teens have the opportunity to shadow our Day Camp leaders and develop leadership skills. While in the program, emphasis is on the development of values and leadership skills, self-esteem, goal setting, environmental awareness, camping skills and the confidence necessary to make the transition from camper to counselor. Space is limited.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: YCARES is a financial assistance program designed to establish reduced fee arrangements with individuals based on their circumstances and their demonstrated ability to pay. Assistance may be limited by the resources available at the time the application is processed.

Activities run the gamut from sports, crafts, performing arts, music and horseback riding. Campers participate in swim lessons, nature and our favorite Gaga! Our camps sits on 66 acres and has 45,000 sq. of air-conditioned buildings. Tall Pines is accredited by the ACA and is state certified.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers are grouped by age and gender and are closely supervised. Junior Camp, ages 3 – 6, are placed in small groups and led through pre-set activities. Middle Campers, 7-9, and Senior Campers, 10-12, participate in an elective program in addition to their regular schedule.

Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program, ages 13-14, have the best of both worlds, since they get to be campers half the day and train for staff positions the other half. They also go on weekly trips to places like Great Adventure and Dorney Park. As an option, the CITs can travel with our Teens on Wheels Program. CITs can become staffers after finishing ninth grade.

There is something for everyone at Tall Pines. Activities run the gamut from sports, crafts and performing and music arts.
