CAMP FACILITIES: Students will have access to the main theatre where they will meet each morning as a student company.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "We SPEAK. A Teen Theater Workshop" offers high school students a two-week, hands-on workshop where they train with industry professionals. Participants may choose one of two tracks: Performance or Technical Theatre Design. Each morning, all student company members will meet for ensemble-building activities, breath work, and a writing workshop. After lunch, most days each track will break into groups to work on learning the theatre skills taught in their chosen track and on developing the performance and design elements of their production based on the company’s written pieces.

On performance day, students will leave camp as usual at 3:00 pm and will return at 6:00 pm to prepare for their 7:00 performance. On the final day of each camp, the company will engage in an evaluation of their work process, their production, and the We Speak experience, ending with an informal cast and crew party at the end of the camp day.

Each student will choose their track in either performance or technical design. The first half of the day will be spent together learning how to craft stories on the page to come to life on the stage; and the other half of the day will be spent in their chosen discipline, putting the skills they learn into practice.

Being a creator of art is truly transformative. At Mad Cow Theatre, we want to share our passion for the arts to help teens understand how much their stories matter.

Students may apply for a We Speak needs-based scholarship when they register. Applicants will be informed on whether or not their application has been approved by June 1st.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Each We Speak will have an evening performance on the second-to-last day of camp:
Session 1 Performance: June 17, 7pm (Company call at 6pm)
Session 2 Performance: July 1, 7pm(Company call at 6pm)

Admission to each performance is free. Each student may invite 4 guests to attend their performance.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Mad Cow Theatre will be following the protocols below to maintain safety for all participants:

-All staff and students must wear face coverings at all times.
-Classrooms and class materials will be disinfected at the end of each day.
-There will be a maximum of 12 students, 2 teaching artists, and 1 teaching assistant together at any given time.
-Student Check-in/Check-Out will take place at the curb on Church Street in front of the theatre.
-All students and staff members will have their temperature checked by staff at the beginning of each day.
-Students and staff will maintain social distancing during activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: We use facilities provided by Camp Suwannee. There are 14 cabins all with air conditioning, a large indoor pavilion, swimming pool and several athletic fields. Meals are served family style in a dining hall. Cabin sizes are kept at 7 campers or fewer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: LOSCC is staffed by adult volunteers who view LOSCC as a ministry to the campers who attend. We are an interdenominational Christ-Centered camp desiring to 'change lives forever, one camper at a time.'

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: UWF's Explore Summer Camps present awesome opportunities for youth to widen horizons and discover new strengths. All of our programs are carefully designed to be engaging and fun. The summer 2020 season is from June 1 to August 7.

Instructors are certified teacher and are the best of the best. They are concerned about the welfare of all students, knowledgeable about their subject matter, work extremely well with parents, and are genuinely excited about teaching at UWF’s Explore Summer Camps. The safety of your child is our number one priority, and we take pride in our outstanding reputation in providing a very safe and enjoyable experience for your child. Our staff is full of energy and driven to provide motivating curriculum choices for you and your child. Everyone in the Explore Summer Camp staff has a thorough background check at the time of their assignment.

In addition, UWF Continuing Education and Explore Summer Camps have received top honors from the Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) as well as from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). Both organizations recognize outstanding credit and non-credit programs throughout the Southern region.

They include university professors, middle school and high school teachers, master, elective and lesson teachers, administrators, and undergraduate and graduate students who serve as counselors and mentors. When the rehearsal are over, Overnight Campers will be able to take a break from their instrument while they explore Disney Parks, and participate in other fun activities with their fellow campers. HAPCO Jazz Band Camps (with Lead Instructors WyCliffe Gordon, Jeff Rupert, Scott Wilson, and Dr Otto Gomez) are designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the less experienced to the most talented, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills as well as their ensemble playing ability.

CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Indian Springs, first established in 1965, is a fun-filled, action packed private summer resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16. Located on 77 acres, camp is nestled beside the wooded springs of beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park amidst the Apalachicola and Wakulla Forest of North Florida. Camp Indian Springs offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and extreme adventure. Camp Indian Springs is truly a place where a summer will last a lifetime!

This is due to our extensive C.I.T. (Counselor-In-Training) program and high staff retention rate. Growing a staff within creates a competitive and safe environment to select the best of the best. More than half the staff have been at camp five years or more. All counselors are carefully selected for their camp skills and must possess superb references. All staff must go through an intensive one week staff training which includes effective cabin leadership, teaching skills, emergency procedures, CPR, first aide and a parent to counselor open forum.

High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We are open year round for group retreats, family camps, family reunions, and any other event possible.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are open year-round for a tremendous and unforgettable experience for the whole family, school, sports team, or any other group! We have hosted countless retreat groups and they have all had incredibly memorable experiences. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The themed kiddie camps are dedicated to children ages 3 - 6 years of age. The program allows children to explore various types of dance forms such as ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, acrobatics and flamenco. Children are given daily dance related arts and crafts projects. The program also allows children to further develop their love of dance through stories. Children learn to express themselves through dance in a creative, energetic and nurturing environment. Programs are two weeks long per session. Imagination is brought into play as they learn to dance with their favorite movie characters! Family and friends are invited to come on the last day of the session to a small showing.

Dance Intensives are offered to students at the age of 8 years or older. It is designed for all levels of dance to further develop their technique while experiencing other forms of dance such as Modern Dance, Improvisation and Composition. Pirouettes, Stretch & Strength will be the main focuses. Campers will put on an end-of-intensive showing for family and friends.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, HipHop, Acrobatics, Flamenco, Lyrical, and Modern Dance are offered for a variety of levels. Youngest start at a 3 years of age. Our new director of Camp J, Betsy has been working at camp for 25 years. It’s a magical place where kids can be themselves and feel accepted and cared for. It’s also a place of learning and growth, where campers can explorer their interests and find out about ones they never had! CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a Leadership Development Program for Grades 6-8. This program is the perfect blend of fun at camp, with experiential learning to put them on the path to becoming camp counselors. Participants spend time working with younger campers, learning through hands-on leadership training, and go on a special field trip just for the age group.

We also offer a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for Grades 9-10. Our CIT Program prepares teens to work at camp. CITs are placed with a camper group and participate in workshops to learn child care and leadership skills, and gain valuable work experience.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: School's Out Days: Pack even more fun into your summer! Our School’s Out Day mini-camp program on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 bridge the end of school and the start of camp.

Saturday Night Out: Each month, the JCC also offers its
Saturday Night Out program for children. Drop your kids off for a fun night of pizza, games and activities with their friends and favorite counselors, while you enjoy a
night out! The program runs 6-11 p.m.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp J is a program of the Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center. We are a cultural institution whose mission is to serve local families and our entire community. Jewish values and culture are the foundation from which we derive our mission. We believe that these values – such as respect, honestly, friendship, and community – are universal.

The Southwest Orlando community is incredibly diverse, and this diversity is embraced in all of our programming. Our goal is to make all campers feel comfortable and included. We are not a religious institution, although we sometimes sing songs with Hebrew words (usually the word “shalom”, or “peace” is a prominent theme), and we do a brief Shabbat celebration on Friday afternoon, which includes a song session filled with spirit (“ruach”) and eating challah bread. We also bring a counselor from Israel to lead our arts and crafts activities, with the intention of exposing our children to a different culture and building a relationship between our communities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Hard-wood sprung floors covered with Marley (that protect dancers' joints through training), wall length mirrors and ballet barres give our two classrooms the professional space needed to properly build dancers. Lobby space provides free WiFi.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Orlando Ballet School is a Classical Ballet School. Teachers are background checked to work with children of all ages and the school is one of only four in the U.S. that is ABT (American Ballet Theatre Training) certified. Classes for children start at age two.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Orlando Ballet School tuition scholarships are determined through auditions (age 7 + up) held (usually the second full week of August) during the registration/placement/scholarship week of classes each year the week before the regular school year begins.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Orlando Ballet School offers classes to all ages (age 2+) year round. The regular school year begins in August and ends in May with an annual Showcase. CAMP FACILITIES: Rock n' Roll Summer Camp consists of 3 rehearsal rooms for lessons, praticing technique, and band practice. We also have a 3,000 sq. ft. room with a fully equipped live sound stage.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Rock n' Roll Summer Camp helps musicians or non-musicians who are starting out make that dream become a reality. It all culminates with a PERFORMANCE, where your child takes center stage to live out their musical dreams in front of family and friends. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A few words ABOUT US. Established in 2003 by international Ballet Master and Choreographer Frank Galvez and international Ballet Mistress and Coach Lucia Montero. MISSION: We are committed to our responsibility to offer our students a caring and professional environment and to provide the highest level of dance instruction with an appropriate curriculum to children, teens, and adults, and performance opportunities. PHILOSOPHY: Our academic and stylistic philosophy is based on traditional classical ballet technique with an influence of the American rhythm and style.

At Galmont Ballet Centre for Dance Education, Teachers and Students alike, should regard the ballet class as a ritual to be treasured. They should undertake their activities in the classroom with the same serious, responsible and disciplined demeanor with which professional dancers approach dancing in front of an audience.

SUMMER PROGRAMS: Galmont Ballet Centre for Dance Education offers intensive training during the summer months for children 3 years old and up. The Summer Programs are led by Founders-Artistic Directors Frank Galvez and Lucia Montero, and offer comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes strong technique, artistry, and outstanding instruction dedicated to helping each individual student maximize his or her training experience and goals.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Galmont Ballet offers a Year-Round quality ballet training for children 3 years old and up, teens, adults, and professionals. Comprehensive dance curriculum, performance opportunities, summer programs.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in a fully furnished and comfortable lodge which has been upgraded for wheelchair accessibility, with separate accommodations in the same building for male and female campers. Staff remains onsite throughout the camp. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier overlooks the river, and a wheelchair accessible golf cart is available to transport campers to and from activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Trailways Camp founders Jerry and Sharon Miller attend every camp session as volunteers and friends to each camper. Camp Director, Jamie Senkeleski has been directing Trailways Camps, Inc. sessions since August 2012. Trailways Camps, Inc. is determined to bring the mission of “Enabling adults with special needs, and those who care for them, to grow their social, emotional and spiritual relationships" to each session.

Trailways Camps, Inc. strives to meet its goals at each and every camp. We create opportunities for fun, friends, and support through structured activities in an environment designed to promote socialization and interaction. Reducing social isolation by building friendships and lasting relationships with other adults and thereby improving individual life experiences is a high priority. In addition, we promote interest in outdoor activities by providing recreational activities that enhance individual skills.

Through reflections and nature, we encourage spiritual expression and growth. By providing overnight camping experiences, we encourage energy renewal time/respite for families/caregivers. And most of all, it is our hope that with each camping session we honor the memory of Robert V. & Benjamin G. Miller whose “Joyful Spirits” inspired the Founding of Trailways Camps. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

CAMP FACILITIES: Ninja Lounge is a state of the art sports and recreational facility located in the heart of North Miami. We feature several challenging and exciting attractions 10,000 square feet of trampoline space with 2 dodge ball courts, 3 basketball hoops, elevated rope courses, wall climbing, and a Tumble Trak for jumping and flipping. Ninja Lounge is also a certified Ninja Warrior training facility with obstacle courses for all ages.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mustard Seed Camp is offering tickets to fly “AIR TEEN MISSIONS” on the newly constructed (non-moveable) airplane. Enjoy “in flight” snacks and video presentations of Teen Missions ministries around the world. You will have your “passport” stamped for each country you “visit”. Train as a Flight Cadet for Jesus when you memorize Scripture, participate in Bible stories, run the Obstacle Course and work on crafts to earn your Wordless Book badges. At the end of the program, you will know how to share the plan of salvation with others. You will also earn the Mustard Seed Wings when you complete your training.

Teen Missions was founded in 1970 by a group of men and women who were passionate about getting youth involved in missions. The founder and director, Robert M. Bland, spent many years as a Youth For Christ director in Chillicothe, Ohio and recruitment director for the Christian Service Corps. The years he spent in ministry made him aware of several things that birthed the idea of Teen Missions:

There were many young people who wanted to serve the Lord in missions, but were not extremely talented and did not have the required skills.

A young girl once said that everyone had explained to her, “Come back when you have finished college and then you can get involved in the Lord’s work.” She stated, “I want to do something for the Lord now, not five years from now.”
In many mission conferences there were no teenagers present at all. They evidently felt that missions were for older people. Mr. Bland felt there was an obvious need to get teenagers involved since they are the next generation of missionaries and leaders.

The innovative idea of involving teenagers in missions continued to develop and that summer the first Teen Missions team embarked to the country of Mexico. Though it was a meager beginning, the program took off and now boasts of over 40 teams that travel to 30 some countries each year. The goal of Teen Missions is to awaken teenagers to the needs in missions, acquaint them with the reality of life on the mission field and give them an opportunity to serve the Lord through work projects and evangelism. Each team member is required to raise their own support to cover the cost of their summer team, which gives them practical experience in raising finances, similar to what other missionaries must do before they go overseas. The money the teens raise goes towards building costs, plane tickets, food and any other supplies needed for their time overseas.

Either a parent/guardian or an adult approved by the parent/guardian, must accompany each Mustard Seed for the entire duration of the program. The adult will sleep in the same tent as the Mustard Seed participant. The adult’s expense is the $30 registration fee plus the $119 project expense.

Each Mustard Seed is provided with a food tray, bowl and international costume to use but not to keep. A sterling silver Mustard Seed ring, ID badge, cup, canteen and T-shirt are yours to take home.

CAMP FACILITIES: Overnight students participating in the Summer Intensive program will stay at the UCF campus dorms and bus over to the studios in the morning, located in downtown Orlando.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The OBS Summer Intensive is for intermediate through advanced students ages 11 and up. International guest teachers supplement our professional, ABT Curriculum certified staff. Classes in ballet, character, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, men’s, partnering and nutrition are offered. Students participate in an average of six hours of daily training Monday through Saturday. Student housing, transportation, and supervision are offered for participants. Structured recreational time and several trips to major theme parks are also included as an option. Only exceptional students are selected from a combination of national auditions and mailed DVD submissions.

June 27 – July 1 Survivor / Fear Factor Camp: There will be no eating bugs in this camp, but your team building skills will be put to the test with this all out fun and challenging survivor type Karate camp. This camp is a must for people who enjoy a truly challenging and rewarding activity.

July 5 – 8 Karate Arts Got Talent: America’s Got Talent is a fan favorite show that allows anyone to compete with a variety of acts. This is the ultimate talent show. So it’s time to show the world your Secret Talent! No Camp on Monday July 4th

July 11 – 15 Be A Movie Star Camp: During this camp, children will write a script, create and produce the set, and Star in their very own Movie. Each child will take home their copy of the Karate Arts Movie Camp Production for the entire family to laugh with and enjoy.

July 18 – 22 DIY Pinterest Projects Camp: During this camp, children will create and make very cool Pinterest DIY projects, and each child will take home their creations for the entire family to enjoy. There will other activities trough out the week like Water Day.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our campus features swimming pools, Marleen Forkas Splash Pad, tennis courts, athletic fields, archery range, trapeze, gymnasiums, playgrounds, science lab, ceramics studio, auditorium, theater stage and a three-level indoor play center.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp at the J is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow in an informal and nurturing setting while developing skills that prepare them for future success. Our camp culture is built on universally accepted moral ideals as well as strong Jewish values. We incorporate respect, honor, good sportsmanship and teamwork into all that we do.

All staff members are thoroughly screened and trained to provide a safe, fun and memorable summer. A registered nurse is on the premises to provide care and medical attention if needed.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: Entering 10th Grade

Under direct supervision, teens will develop leadership skills through a hands-on experience engaging with campers, training from local professionals, and social programming to aid in networking with other Madatzim. The goals of this program are to prepare for teens for future work experiences, provide teens with training and skills to become effective leaders and role models, improve self-confidence, assist children in camp groups, and excel at handling responsibility resulting in a fun and productive summer. Theater CIT Program: Age 16
Talented teens explore their creative side and also go behind the scenes to learn lighting and stage techniques, set design, direction, stage management and lighting plots.

Manhigim: Grades 7-9
Tailor-made for adventurous, independent teens craving fun and friendship-filled summers. Campers hit the road every week to experience favorites like waterskiing, Rapids and state-of-the-art entertainment parks,
plus new and exciting ones we introduce every summer, in Florida and beyond. Campers also enjoy overnight and day trips to exciting attractions and on campus activities including sports, art, swim, trapeze, archery and more.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have our own facility with classrooms and a 175 seat theatre in the Broward College campus. We have a classroom at the Galleria Mall. The students are rotated between theatre, movement, and craft activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Boarding students will reside at the University of North Florida in dormitories with private bathrooms. Full meal service is included and transportation on charter buses between Florida Ballet Training Center and UNF will be provided. Optional outings to the beach and other destinations may be offered. Boarding students will check in on Sunday, June 8 and check out on Saturdday, June 21.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The OBS Summer Intensive is for intermediate through advanced students ages 11 and up. International guest teachers supplement our professional, ABT Curriculum certified staff. Classes in ballet, character, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, men’s, partnering and nutrition are offered. Students participate in an average of six hours of daily training Monday through Saturday.

Student housing, transportation, and supervision are offered for participants. Structured recreational time and several trips to major theme parks are also included as an option. Only exceptional students are selected from a combination of national auditions and mailed DVD submissions.

Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. An experienced educator and visual culture historian, Dr. Romanenko specializes in Museum education, art history, American History, and object-based learning in formal and informal environments. She holds a PhD in Art History from the City University of New York and for more than 15 years teaches art history and works in Museum education. She also holds a BA in Education Sciences and has experience in research, development and implementation of educational programs for different age groups.

Alicia Mino, Art Educator, Manager of the School and Community Programs

An accomplished practicing artists and art educator, Alicia Mino received her Master’s in visual communication from the Metropolitan University of Chile, She spent fifteen years in Italy studying art history, oil painting, and sculpture. She presented in numerous art exhibitions and founded the Mates Art and Design Studio, where she taught drawing, oil/acrylic painting, and sculpture fundamentals for ten years. In 2008 Alicia moved to Philadelphia where she continues to exhibit her work and teaches art.

Lindsey Murphy, Art Educator and K-8 Program Coordinator

An art educator with over a decade of experience in the field of education, Lindsey Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology; concentration in Archaeology from Millersville University, and an Elementary Teaching Certification from Millersville University. She worked as a general education classroom teacher in the Oxford Area School District in Chester County, PA for 8 years, and has worked in PAFA’s education department over the past 11 years creating and implementing numerous museum tours and art making experiences for children and families of all backgrounds, becoming the K-8 Program Coordinator in 2019..

Melissa Hendrixson, Art Educator

Melissa Hendrixson is an artist and art educator who has worked in Museum Education for over five years. She has her Bachelor's of Fine Arts and Studio Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and has gained experience through assisting the coordination and development of various museum programming including family programs, youth art classes, and summer camps. She now works for the School and Community Partnership Program as an art educator where she develops and implements museum tours, school lessons, and community outreach programs to support student learning, parental engagement and visual literacy initiatives.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: School of Rock Coral Springs is in it's 8th year. All of our camp leaders are have a degree in music and are professional musicians. You will be stunned at how much the kids accomplish in just one week, and you will get to see it, when they take the stage at a local rock venue!

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Aside from camp, School of Rock is a year round performance based music program. Our students combine private lessons with group themed rehearsals with the ultimate goal of of performing live on stage with the peers in a real band setting!

Kicking off the first week with a collection of songs from the greatest band in rock history, The Beatles. Perfect show for beginners.

June 27th-July 1st American Wins at America:
Come celebrate American independence with bands like Green Day, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine, Lenny Kravitz, and more. The most patriotic thing you will do all year.

July 11th-15th Ska:
The perfect camp for the summer vibe, the ska camp will include a collection of second and third wave ska and highlight the history and musical background of the genre.

July 25th-29th Preview next season:
This camp will preview 5 songs from each of our upcoming fall season of shows.

August 8th-12th David Bowie Mega Camp:
Our summer camp finale will feature music honoring the legendary singer/songwriter and will include a high energy show with theatrical performance.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Live Oak is a children's day camp working in a cooperative effort with Florida’s State Park System to provide an environmental experience. We offer a unique opportunity for kids to experience the wonder and joy of curiosity, discovery and new knowledge in regards to nature in general and unique ecosystems in the Ft. Lauderdale and Dania beach.

In addition to our wonderful summer camp programs, we offer winter and spring camp experiences. Exciting adventures include hands-on marine and environmental science programs, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, media/photography program, archery, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, photography, paddle boarding, sports, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving camp (Ft. Lauderdale location only), pottery, arts and crafts, field trips, onsite special weekly activities (rock wall, water slides) Teen travel trips to the Florida Keys and much more!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: This teen program features wide variety of activities and fantastic field trips that your teen is sure to love! We offer a multitude of different programs which are flexible with your teens busy summer schedule. The teen summer program is now a weekly program. Register for 3 weeks (regular weeks) or more and receive a Multiweek discount! Discount does not apply to any of the Specialty weeks, including Ocean Quest.

Weekly Options all Summer Long! – Teens can participate in weekly programs all summer long. This program will be a combination of volunteer work within the assigned cabin groups and activities or field trips designed specifically for teens. Teens will be assigned to a camper group (ages 5 – 9) which they will work alongside certified teachers and college students guiding campers through a series of outdoor activities. The time that they work with the groups they earn community service hours for high school. In addition, they will come together with the Teen Eco coordinator and participate in a variety of activities or field trips.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Camp Live Oak allows your child to explore the world around them here in South Florida, enjoying the many aspects of our beautiful environment! Each Camp Live Oak session and week is centered around a theme, with activities and programs built around that theme. Understanding the local natural environment and developing a respect and stewardship for that environment is vital to our program. The integration of science and art into each week allows for creativity and enthusiasm for learning and doing.

Campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, science, kayaking, arts and crafts, sports, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding and archery every week that they are at camp, with different activities rotating on various days. Exciting and educational field trips, guest speakers and specialty programs are scheduled regularly to give your child an extremely well rounded day camp experience!

Remember, you may register for as many, or as few, weeks as you’d like, there is no minimum number of weeks.

We highly recommend children attend for at least two weeks so they are able to have a full camp experience, but we are flexible as we know your summer schedule may be full of fun activities.

Have a child that is 14 – 16 years of age? Check out our Teen Eco Experience, specially designed for high school age campers. This program combines community service hours as well as fun group activities, day field trips, overnight travel excursions throughout Florida and more!

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp is located at Inna's Hall of Fame Performing Arts Conservatory - a facility with 2 dance studios, a black box theater, 3 piano rooms, drums, guitar and art rooms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The morning starts with stretching and goes over to acting. Rehearsing for the showcase of The Ever After A Musical. Lunch happens at noon, and the dance rehearsal, set design. We'll end with a run through.

We offer many different different sports--and countless ways for your child to grow. The camps range from soccer to baseball to our popular mulit-sport camps where kids sample three different sports (soccer, basketball and baseball) in one camp.

Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. OTHER CAMP INFO: Skyhawks Sports Camps are SAFETY FOCUSED!

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. Additionally, it develops a level of trust between parent, coach, and child that ultimately leads to a fun and skill-focused camp for youth.
