BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Davern is a terrific summer camp. We are an overnight summer camp for kids located on over 100 acres of rolling hills and forest in the town of Maberly, Ontario. Our camps main focus is our overnight summer camp. With over 30 buildings on site, our facility can support up to 150 campers each session. In the spring and fall seasons, Camp Davern operates an outdoor education centre targeted towards kids who live near Ottawa and Kingston.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Music/Band, Basketball, Football, Weightloss, Soccer, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Sailing, Volleyball, Team Sports, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Camp Davern is an overnight summer camp for campers ages 6-16, located on over 100 acres of rolling hills and forest in the town of Maberly, Ontario.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Davern has over 30 camp buildings on site. We are rustic traditional, however offer comfortable living in cabins. Our dining hall is on of our original buildings on site and was built in the 1940's.
There is a terrific sense of history on our beautiful site.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Davern is a full service camp that prides itself in meeting and exceeding standards.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) (AGES 15-16)
The CIT program is a four-week adventure that focuses on the hard skills of the camp experience. As candidates work to achieve certifications in swimming (Bronze Med and Cross) sailing (OSA), canoeing (ORCA), they also take part in some of the elective options available to all campers. A highlight of the month program is the 7 night Algonquin Out-trip that is both challenging for the kids and memorable. The program strives to encourage each candidate to shine, building character, self esteem, patience and empathy.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Family Camp is a terrific opportunity for parents and kids to experience our summer programs together. Ideal for kids and adults of all ages, Camp Davern’s family camp weekends provide you with an opportunity to play as a family, or divide into the age specific programming options that offered throughout the day.

Family Camp #1: August 17 – August 19
Family Camp #2: August 24 – August 26
Rate: $450 for a family of up to 5
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp Davern is an overnight summer camp that currently shuts down in the winter months.

Great for camp beginners or if you’d like to add a week to a two week program.

2 WEEK SESSIONS
Our most popular choice. As the session progresses, campers will have the opportunity to take part in an overnight camping trip with their cabin mates.
