During our acclaimed weekly Drama Camps, children will act, sing, dance, and play theatre games centered around themes like Hamilton Fanatics, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Sing. Campers will also create costume, prop and set pieces. Camps culminate in a performance of an original show! CAMP FACILITIES: Most of our camps are hosted in a beautiful newly constructed building of the First Free Church. It is air conditioned.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camps and classes are all taught by professional teaching artists who engage campers in fun drama games and activities that foster creativity, self-expression and teamwork. Each week is designed around a creative theme and age group. Campers collaborate together to create a performance piece to be performed at the end of each week. These camps are based on dramatic play and exploration. We are proud to announce that we were the recipient of the 2013 Red Tricycle Award for "Most Awesome Dance and Theater Class" in Chicago!
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Students entering 5th-8th grades are invited to be a Jr. Camp Counselor for any camp geared towards 3-7 year olds. Jr. Camp Counselor’s receive a 50% discount for their assistance and their responsibilities include:
•Assist with drama games by leading with examples
•Help with story/show creation by supporting and enhancing the creative ideas of the younger campers
•Create and help with set/prop/costume development
•Assist with set up for different activities
•Assist with songs and dances
•Lead warm ups and games with supervision (if desired)
•Arrive 15 minutes early and stay 15 minutes late to help with set up/clean up and go over goals and planning

We also offer a 4 week production camp. The camp runs from July 23rd- August 18th. This year we are excited to announce that we will be putting on Alice in Wonderland JR. This PROFESSIONAL STAGE EXPERIENCE features 2 live performances on the MAIN STAGE at the historic Athenaeum Theatre complete with FULL COSTUMES, SETS, LIGHTS, and SOUND. Our design and creative teams work together seamlessly to ensure the best production process and camp experience possible! This is a rich training ground for young musical theater performers in an educational environment that is both nurturing and fun!

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Broadway Break Thru, is the most comprehensive, quality performing arts experience, with individual classes for students ages 8 – 20. Our week-long intensive being held August 3 – 8 at George School in Newtown, will feature exclusive auditions for each participant with Broadway's "Matilda" and New York's top talent agency, Stewart Talent. Throughout the week, students will create their own films that will premiere in a student film festival, along with a live performance of Disney's "Frozen".

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. Each summer, around 300 campers participate in Band, Strings, Choir, Jazz and Piano areas during the day and then get together for fun activities at night. CAMP FACILITIES: Located in the rolling hills and woods of Northwestern Illinois, our camp comprises beautiful woods, trails, a swimming pool, two all natural rock climbing walls, game fields, and a 5-acre lake for swimming, water games, and almost a mile of canoeing through the property. With 120 acres of forests, wildlife, and wildflowers galore, it offers fresh air, natural water, the robust smell of pure woods and a twinkling night sky.

CAMP FACILITIES: In addition to several expansive athletic fields, there is a spacious wooded area for recreation out of the sun. SHORTENED DAY PROGRAM for children ages 3 – 5
provides a fun-filled day led by adult counselors and includes bus transportation, daily swimming instruction, lunch, and numerous sports and activities all appropriate to the age, attention span, and energy level of three through five-year-olds.
FULL DAY PROGRAM for children ages 4 – 13
Campers swim twice a day, and exceptional Red Cross instruction is provided by trained staff in our spacious, heated pool. What is more fun than playing an interactive video game? Writing one! Video sensing allows students to design and program their own video games and then test them by interacting with the program via webcam. In this Scratch program, students work together to create their own games, art and musical instruments while exploring coding foundations. Katerina Romanenko, Ph.D. Assistant Director of Youth and Family Programs
An experienced educator and visual culture historian, Dr. Romanenko specializes in Museum education, art history, American History, and object-based learning in formal and informal environments. She holds a PhD in Art History from the City University of New York and for more than 15 years teaches art history and works in Museum education. She also holds a BA in Education Sciences and has experience in research, development and implementation of educational programs for different age groups.
Alicia Mino, Art Educator, Manager of the School and Community Programs
An accomplished practicing artists and art educator, Alicia Mino received her Master’s in visual communication from the Metropolitan University of Chile, She spent fifteen years in Italy studying art history, oil painting, and sculpture. She presented in numerous art exhibitions and founded the Mates Art and Design Studio, where she taught drawing, oil/acrylic painting, and sculpture fundamentals for ten years. In 2008 Alicia moved to Philadelphia where she continues to exhibit her work and teaches art.
Lindsey Murphy, Art Educator and K-8 Program Coordinator
An art educator with over a decade of experience in the field of education, Lindsey Murphy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology; concentration in Archaeology from Millersville University, and an Elementary Teaching Certification from Millersville University. She worked as a general education classroom teacher in the Oxford Area School District in Chester County, PA for 8 years, and has worked in PAFA’s education department over the past 11 years creating and implementing numerous museum tours and art making experiences for children and families of all backgrounds, becoming the K-8 Program Coordinator in 2019..
Melissa Hendrixson, Art Educator
Melissa Hendrixson is an artist and art educator who has worked in Museum Education for over five years. She has her Bachelor's of Fine Arts and Studio Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and has gained experience through assisting the coordination and development of various museum programming including family programs, youth art classes, and summer camps. She now works for the School and Community Partnership Program as an art educator where she develops and implements museum tours, school lessons, and community outreach programs to support student learning, parental engagement and visual literacy initiatives.

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.
Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Peoria is in the heart of Illinois 2 1/2 hours South of Chicago and about 3 hours North of St.Louis

CAMP FACILITIES: At Eureka dormitory living with meals. Pool, workout area, and everything with in walking distance. Small town feel, safe and secure area.
At Peoria Ballet- State of the art studio's with Harlequin flooring. 4 studios. Small class sizes.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Intensive ballet training with modern, jazz, tap, lyrical too.
Performance after fifth week.
Peoria Ballet Artistic Director Servy Gallardo will be Master Teacher along with Guillermo Levya of Alma Dance Company, Chicago and Reida Dolbi.

This school is a virtual school and offers classes nationwide. We have 1-hour classes, summer camp, holiday and school break camps. Lessons include typing, coding, math, science, arts and learning the Google programs. Classes are designed for K-5.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our summer camps, holiday and school break camps are virtual and run for 2.5 hours. Then we have our 1-hour classes available all year long. Students enrich their computer science skills in our program. Typing, Coding, Arts, Math and Google program instruction are key. Just an idea of the fun: Students use computer arts to design a POKEMON, MINECRAFT, ROBLOX or other favorite theme while learning Google Slides or during our ART sessions. Typing is a very important skill to learn and students are taught the correct way to type over a series of classes.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Special Needs are welcome.

CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: This program can also be delivered through our TUTORING service by appointment during the summer.

Online camps such as summer, holiday and school break camps run for 2.5 hours and cost $55 for the session.
1-hour classes run all year long and currently cost $20 per class.
