BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: We pride ourselves on creating an experience as unique as each of our campers. From our Athletics to our Arts & Nature programs, Camp Conrad Weiser affords young people many opportunities to develop new skills and learn valuable life lessons. Our camp counselors serve as positive role models for our campers and exhibit a true dedication to our camp community.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Tennis, Waterfront/Aquatics, Sailing, Volleyball, Team Sports, Adventure, Travel, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Target Sports Including: Archery, Rifles, & Trap Shooting.
Target Sports Games Including: GotchaTag (low Velocity Paintball), & Archery Tag
Mountain-Boarding & Mountain Biking
Creative Arts Programs Including: A Radio Station, Guitar Instruction, Film Shorts, Traditional Crafts & Much More
Waterfront Activities Like: Canoeing, Kayaking & Sailing
International Travel Camps: To YMCA Camps In Spain, Germany & Russia

CAMP LOCATION: We are located 50 miles west of Philadelphia off of Interstate 76. We have 600 acres of mountaintop for our campers to explore and a rich history to grow on. Please visit our website for camp photos and videos.
CAMP FACILITIES: YMCA Camp Conrad Weiser calls 600 acres atop the South Mountain our home. Facilities used by our campers include:
24 Log Cabins in 4 villages
2 Shower-Houses with private showers and private changing areas
A newly-renovated Dining Hall with AC
An Outdoor, Zero-Entry Pool with splash features, a slide, a diving board, and a rock wall
Climbing Tower, Ropes Course, and Zip Line
Basketball and Tennis Courts
Archery Range
BB Range
Sling Shot Range

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We welcome you to the mountain and invite you to share in our Fire of Friendship, determined in our belief that every person shares the potential to grow in wisdom, to discover their unique and independent voice, to nurture others and to engage their communities. The fun and challenging programs we offer foster communication, trust, problem-solving and deeper spiritual connections, while preparing young people to lead and be led. The South Mountain YMCA Camps are more than a series of camping and retreat programs on the mountaintop, they are a way of life – a philosophy – that are exciting to explore and easy to embrace. The South Mountain YMCA Camps
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our CIT (Counselors-In-Training) program is offered for 16 & 17 year-olds. This program requires an application and interview. It is designed to introduce young people interested in becoming camp counselors to leadership skill-building, public speaking, program design and child development. This is a 2-week program. Multiple sessions are offered each summer.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We do offer financial assistance for families who qualify.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer 5 Family Camp Weekends each year. Please visit our website for more information, dates and fees. We'd love to have you and your family visit us on the mountain.
